Mary Ruth Bressler, 90, of Lambertville, MI, formerly of Monroe, MI, died Thursday, September 7, 2017. Born October 11, 1926, in Monroe, MI, she was the daughter of Isadore J. and Anna M. (Friedline) Roberts. Mary married Raymond G. Bressler on September 10, 1949, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Monroe, MI. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1991. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, playing cards, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia (Lehr) Welch and Marsha (Dennis) Donoghue; grandchildren, Scott, Todd, Jason, Brad, and Amy and 11 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Henry, Albert and Ernest Roberts, and 3 sisters, Marie Dushane, Cecelia Roberts and Cecilia Michels.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, September 11, 2017, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue (at Donna Dr.), Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
